Another gripping finally for the Guinness Premiership

8th May 2010

Northampton Saints ensure a home semi final with a clinical win against London Irish to retain their momentum & confidence moving forward through the week. The leaders Leicester Tigers are tamed by loosing to Saracens at home and the 2010 Guinness Premiership is going to be another gripping finally.

Last weekend's results mean that Leicester Tigers, Northampton Saints, Saracens & Bath are the four clubs that still stand a chance of being crowned Guinness Premiership Champions 2010.

The semi-final matches have been confirmed as the following:
Leicester Tigers vs Bath at Welford Road
Northampton Saints vs Saracens at Franklins Gardens

Both matches for the Guinness Premiership Semi Final will kick off at 3pm on Saturday and by the end of the afternoon the Guinness Premiership finalists will be confirmed.

Northampton Saints were the only English team to reach the Quarter Finals of the European Heineken Cup and also the only English team to have picked up some silverware for the cabinet winning the LV Cup last month. This is a reflection of the fantastic season they have had so far…
